Hi, can anyone tell me if the 7.20 update includes the A10 bypass just north of Ware, Hertfordshire or does the A10 still go through Wadesmill???
This bypass was built around five years ago now & still doesn't appear on TomTom maps!
Thanks in advance |

You may be in luck as the Google map (which uses the same teleatlas maps as tomtom) now seems to have this section of the A10 in the correct place. I havn't got my tomtom with me at the moment but I'll have a look at it tonight of no one else provides an answer. |

Why can TomTom not make the upgrade foolproof and supply a self installing UPGRADE rather than having to uninstall the old and save favorites etc. At £ 74 I think V 7.2 is very expensive and I am not sure if my safety camera base is still there or will it reinstall if I update safety cameras in TomTom plus ?
Frustrated ! |

Well, it seems they might have done....
After years of telling people that every new map downloads to its own distinct folder, I've had a couple of reports recently that a new map of the same terretory HAS overwritten the old map and kept the original folder structure, presumably with POIs and Favourites etc. intact.
Here's one report on another forum- CLICK ME |

Could be because the Map Folder was identically named. _________________ Richard

I can confirm that when updating to the v720 map, my old v710 map was overwritten, which was a pleasant surprise (there was no way I had enough space to have both installed). However, my Favorites were lost and I had to set them again. |

When I used LMG about a month ago, WE 7.15 overwrote the version 7.05 that was on my device. Shame I hadn't waited though because I then had to buy version 7.20 before my 30 days were up. _________________ TT Go Essential |
