I had an old Bt (had a blue globe logo on it) bluetooth receiver connecting to my Hp Ipaq HX 2110 using TomTom6 software.

Ok the TTFF was incredibly slow since i bought a new car with a different windscreen. So i bought a Holox 54. The TTFF was now superb. However the accuracy is awful, so bad its almost impossible to find the right exit on a roundabout. Also it often believes i am on a slip road or still on the main road after leaving onto a slip road.
Secondly every so often while travelling it thinks i have left the motorway and started driving through the nearest field.

The supplier has sent me replacement but its just as bad.

I have also tried several different software settings. without a solution.

Can anyone help/tell me.

1. If this is a common fault, if so is it software or just a crap hardware.

2. I am better off ditching the Holox and buying an alternative - if so
Which Bluetooth RX should i go for?

Hello bsirrell

where have you locate your BT device...

If possible move it to the rear of your vehicle and see what happens..

I'm luck to have a power socket in the boot...so thats where i have mine it works works for me.

edited to add...
