Has anyone had any problems with the flappy magnetic weather cap perishing and falling off their Zumo mounts?
And where to get replacements from? |

Yep - the one I had perished within about 6 months - I rang the people I got it from (Blokestuff) and they told me to call Garmin - did that & Garmin sent a replacement cover immediately - if you look on the Garmin website there will be a UK contact number.
Cheers

Not falling off, but as much use as a chocolate fireguard. It just won't stay on the pins, so stays permanently folded back on the magnetic holder. I'm plucking up the courage to just cut it off. |

Phoned Garmin UK about a similar problem with the weather cap on one of my mounts, and I'd also lost a security screw. Replacements arrived next day. |

There was a faulty batch of weather covers with the Zumo early on but give them a ring and they send a new one with no argument _________________ Zumo 500 + 4GB SD Card, car Kit and GTM21
Linked to Autocom by bluetooth and all seems good.
Traffic reception in the central belt of Scotland and hurray NW England seems to be working again. Still a million times better than the Quest 2 it replaces |

Just fitted mine to the bike and the rubber cap won't stay on the pins!
Phoned Garmin, got straight through (have they changed their phone system?) and they're sending me one out. |
