Hi everyone!

I have recently got an O2 xda Stellar which has inbuilt GPS.

I have also got tomtom navigator 6 with UK maps etc on it. Trying to set it up but the program will not give me the option of using the inbuilt GPS only external sources...

Tried all the settings etc but none of them will work..

Can anyone help?

Thanks

You need TTN6,020 or newer to get the inbuilt GPS menu option, even then it is only offered for selection on certain devices. Try Other NMEA GPS or cabled GPS, I think the GPS is on COM5 on that PDA but I might be wrong, Baud speed is either 4800 or 9600 - do not mess around with the seperate GPS applet which is in the settings menu, this is best left alone to be honest. - Mike

Just for confirmation and the benefir of others what com port number did you select, as I said earlier I think it is 5 but this has never been confirmed by an actual user as yet? - Mike

Just moved my TT6 copy from my older XDA2 to my new Orbit2 & COM 4 9600 Baud worked for me first time for the internal GPS...

now I can play - have been using the copilot 7 software on it up til now - some bits better (safety features etc) but the Camera POIs and stuff not as good as on TomTom

Keep up the good work guys.
