Can any one help with a problem I have trying to write a new poi list.

There are approximately 1000 locations but they are all in the
(WGS84) dd*mm.mmmm format and poiedit only accepts
(WGS84) dd*mm’ss.s” or (WGS84) dd.ddddd*
the task is big enough without having to convert every poi before writing
is there another programme for writing poi’s ?

I've never used XLSConverter, but I believe it will take dd mm.mm and convert it to either a csv file or an ov2 file. The built-in Help explains how to layout the 3 Columns.

It was written by our own Oldie.

. . . . might save you a bit of time. The TomTom download is at the bottom of the page.

not upset just trying to explain.

have used the campingcars poi's for a couple of years now and most of them are not very accurate. some evan a mile or so out, hence this project.

The clipped answer didn't say how Richard. Be nice if he told us more about it huh?

It might appear as a 'paid for' download in association with the quoted book or it might be a gift to us. Hard to tell from a one word answer ;-)
