Was it a deliberate move to give PGPS Staff, verifiers and moderators a graphic and text rank?

Everybody else only seems to have a text ranking and it looks a little odd that a graphic should be added to mods etc duplicating what the text rank is saying

It was a deliberate move to differentiate Team, Mods & Verifiers from other forum members. If you read the two posts immediately prior to yours it is explained Very Happy

Previously 'everyone' had the text AND graphic for rank. The board software insists on having the text regardless of whether a graphic is used or not.

Not a problem! While I'm here, we're looking at giving Lifetime members the option of having their rank shown as 'Lifetime Member'. I'm just checking with my colleagues to ensure we're all happy before I make the changes.

This would be on a request basis to permit those who wish to retain anonymous to do so.

Can all those who do wish to display their Lifetime membership status drop me an email (darrenATpocketgpsworld.com) with the Subject 'Lifetime Membership Rank' and so long as we Ok it I will edit your status. Please ensure you use the Subject Lifetime Membership Rank to ensure it gets through my anti-spam and I'll also need your user-name!

Ok, the consensus seems positive so I've created a Lifetime Member rank.

I think it replaces "Verifier" because I'm sure mostdom was showing as "Verifier" before he opted to change to "Lifetime Member"

...but it's a good question, because if you have a text rank and a graphic, it may be possible to show both for verifiers and mods

mostdom is not a Verifier.

Both verifier and Lifetime Member need the individual members agreement prior to making the information public, as all verifiers are Lifetime members anyway I don't see how it would replace that ? - Mike
