Hello mostdom - I think that you should re - open the poll (if allowed) and maybe put it on the front page where people have a better chance of seeing it.

Earlier in this post I made several suggestions to have this thread moved to the front page, but it was obviously chosen not to by the powers that be. It was only chosen to be a temporary poll as at the time this subject was in question by a few submitting members.
I don't have the ability to reopen a poll so I might say this one will be resigned to the archives.
However this thread has renewed the subject if you wish to post your two cents.

When this poll was first posted we did not have the Lifetime Member rank option. As we now do I don't see what use another poll would have?
We average about 30'ish new appointees with each release so that's approximately 60 every month..

Hi Darren, I thought that it would be interesting to see the percentage of lifetime members v normal members. I might then have an idea of how long it will take me to become one as well!

You assume that all the lifers will respond to the post, in reality only a very small percentage of the membership would bother so the results would be wholly unrepresentative.
Many lifers don't even use the forums. Don't forget also that members does not equal subscribers, whilst you have to be a member to be a subscriber, the opposite does not apply. Actual subscription figures is data we wouldn't wish to make public.

I wouldn't ask for sensitive information Darren, but as a rough guide, lets say that of 100% of subscribers, xx% go on to earn life membership. What are the x's?
I suppose I just want to see if the odds are stacked against me, a bit like playing the lottery. You have got to be in it to win it, but when you are it's 14,000,000 to 1 against you getting lucky!"
