Just wanted to thank Darren for the cool new icons which i have tried and now using on my TomTom One V2, APP 7.163 & UK Map V710.1571 with map share.

I used the 22x22 and the large 44x44 and all look really cool.

Well updated today and the new ones are using numbers ???
Was using the auto update software but that seems to have given up the ghost.
It doesn't even load when I start my computer now, not that it was logging into the website towards the end anyway.

Where did you download the cameras from before? The ones from this site have always used numbers. Note that the auto-update bit from POIEdit (?) doesn't work now due to how the files are created - you have to download them from this site itself.

Anyway, I was coming in to say that Europe is now covered with 44x44 icons. All my standard ones now have a large version so use what you want. I'm off to the Guinness

I'm not a Garmin Expert, what are the designations for the different software types on the Nuvi's and mapping units such as the 60CSX so I can add a differentiation on the compatibility table?

I have no detail on Nuvis but the software in 60Cx, 60CSx, 76Cx and 76CSx will be identical.

The iQue 3600 cannot use POI loader and therefore the camera icons.

Downloaded and installed the 22 x 22 sets on a Navigon running V6 and POIWarner V3, and they work. Have yet to test on Navigon V5 with POIWarner V2 but I do not expect there to be any issues.

Thanks to Gerry_C for all the hard work.

What 'auto update' software? We don't use numbers and to the best of my knowledge never have. If you are using POIEdit then not only have we not supported it for 2+ years but any data you are getting from it isn't ours?

Can you report back and clarify this?

Absolutely, I have done nowt but re-create his page on our site and jiggle a bit of .html.

GerryC is the man who deserves all the praise for the excellent icons. I'll have to take another look at the page and make that clearer Embarassed

Thanks Alastair, I've added Navigon v6 to the compatibility list.

I was using a little program called Camera Manager from someone on here which would log onto the website and check the version before downloading any updates.

Ah ok, that is Ash10's app, I'm not familiar with it.

Can you explain what you mean by "the new ones are using numbers"? What are you referring to? I'd like to help but am not clear on what the issue is exactly!

you have downloaded a different database format that normal. if you download 'consolidated by type' then you will get speed camera icons as opposed to the speed limit icons.

the zumo will still alert you to the correct speed when using the consolidated by type files.

I can clarify a bit further.

Ash10s CM downloads the Single File database and then you have the choice of having it exported as a Speed Zoned Database (Use Speed Limit Icons) or the Consolidated Database (Use Speed Camera Type Icons).

If you choose the Speed Zoned option the files have names like PocketGPS_UK_Twenty.gpx but the icons in these sets have names like pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp.

All you need to do is rename the files to the corresponding word equivalent and then use them. i.e change pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp to pocketgps_uk_gatso_twenty.bmp
