I'm looking for help please with Route 66

Not sure if I'm in the correct forum but am desperate for assistance with a Route 66 Chicago (9000 I beleive) This was bought from China.
My problem on switch on it runs through some kind of process and displays a web site. A screen comes up then telling me "error at least one file is missing please install the application agein."
I have no idea whether the file is missing off the memory card or from the system.
I have all the european country maps on a c/d.
Would be most greatful if someone could head me in the right direction as to where the files are missing and if they can be downloaded?
