Greeting all, haven't been here for a while. I'm still running TT5 on an old SPV C550 on WMSE2003. Whilst it performs ok I miss the larger touch screen of my old MIO 168 which has vanished somewhere. What would be a good replacement which would fit in a pocket reasonably, have a bigger screen for my ageing eyesight, maybe touchscreen? Also, is the performance of WM6 or newer symbians any better. My phone takes ages to boot up.
I don't need inbuilt GPS as my B/T one is fine but I may consider it as I could always flog the old one.
Ta.

What are the benefits of tomtom over copilot? What are the major differences?

I'm looking at the orbit 2 - it looks a nice bit of kit, but having used a tomtom unit for the past few years I feel obvious familiar with this.

Any ideas of the cost difference & accuracy of traffic updates between them?

What about accuracy of mapping and route planning?

Thanks

john

I've got Tomtom running on an SPV M700 from Orange. Comes with in-built GPS. Worth a look if you run a mobile contract.
