Put this update on my 765T last night, the unit updated, and then worked for about 2 minutes. It powered itself off and now the unit is now Dead, Hosed whatever you want to call it. Will have to take it back to the shop today |

Paul by TMC are you referring to the traffic delay icon changing to either yellow or red but not:
a) displaying a delay time
b) changing the ETA
c) forcing a reroute to a better arrival time optimised route _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

TMC unit doesn't recognise the UK Subscription in the GTM21 at all. i.e. it just keeps scanning and scanning. It has a US and Canada subscription but no UK one. However the GTM21 that came with my 760 works fine with the 765 and the GTM21 that came with the 765 doesn't work on the 760....
I as hoping that

would fix it... |

this is purely to do with you having a tmc subsription for USA and Canada. When I bought my 775t (going to USA on hols so wanted USA maps as well as UK ) it said it came with free lifetime tmc subscription. What it didn't highlight was the fact that this was only for the USA/Canada and the included GTM21 requires you to purchase UK tmc subscription if you want UK traffic! Got round this same as you i.e using my GTM21 from a previous model(C510D) which has lifetime traffic and works fine
