It's using old photos (as compared with GoogleEarth). It shows our house as the cow sheds they were back in 2000 - which is when we started to convert them. We've been living in them since 2003. The GE photo of the same area is clearer and clearly shows our cars parked in the yard. You can even make out the two geese we had at the time (~2004) _________________ Phil |

Strange how most of their mobiles happen to be in exactly the same place as ours in my area, including one that is about 30 ft off the road. |

The intimation was not 'Are we contributing?' but 'Are they using our data?' as it seems strange that for instance our mobile 34559@30, Heading:270 is shown in exactly the same position despite the fact that the position is not actually on the road under check |

I've removed the links pending an enquiry with the site in question. We suspect that all or indeed a large part of the data for UK at least has been obtained from our database. The data is possibly 12 - 18mths out of date but a control location has been confirmed.
I will be pursuing this with them directly. _________________ Darren Griffin |
