Navman iCN 630 Automatic Route Simulator

Hi Evrybody

Back around Feb 10th ICNman commented on the Automatic Route Simulator. Well I've been playing around with my unit for a while this evening and I don't seem to be able to get it to work either.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't even bother with it but I'm going to visit some friends who live in the back of beyond. The last time we went to see them I used V1 and programmed the destination in via the Shortest Route. Well! it took me thru lanes so narrow and unused that grass was growing up 2' high in the middle. I'm sure the last time they were used was when they wrote the Magna Carta.

So this time I thought I'd set the Quickest Time and use the Auto Simulator to see which way it took me.I've looked at the User Manual but the instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Has anyone used it yet succesfully and if so what's the easy way of setting it up please
