Missing Maps on Myguide 3100 (with 512mb internal memory)

I recently bought a Myguide 3100 Sat Nav...

On the box of my Myguide 3100 it says it has a 512mb internal memory (There was no SD card included in the box, although there is still a slot on the Sat Nav to add an SD card if required).
Is there a way of actually checking these specs (as I know some Myguides come with a 256mb SD card and smaller internal memory)

I have turned it on but cannot see any maps. The screen is just green/blue with no roads coming up after it is turned on and the GPS signal is found etc. (I can only see the 'Basemap' listed when going through to the: Navigate-About-Maps section).
Can I re-install the UK & Ireland maps on the Sat Nav? How do I get them back on the device?
Do I need to transfer them onto the internal 512mb memory?
If so - how do I do this?
The Myguide came with a Maploader Software DVD that says UK & Ireland. Are the maps stored on this and if so can they be transferred to the internal 512 mb memory?
I did download Active Sync 4.5 and then try to drag and drop the map files to the flash drive of the Sat Nav but it did not work.
Ive also tried to re-set the device hoping that it would re-set to factory settings etc but the maps still do not appear.

Please help...Im getting desperate...
