MS Smartphone GPS Nav Solution to be launched at CeBIT

Early rumours that a MS Smartphone compatible GPS Navigation solution was being developed seem to be true with strong hints that one or more manufacturers will be unveiling solutions at the forthcoming CeBit exhibition.

There are a few hurdles that need to be overcome, only a couple of current Smartphone models have Bluetooth and the popular E200 needs a service pack to correct bugs in its Bluetooth Stack to enable connection to a BT GPS receiver. Amazingly the E200's MS Bluetooth Stack does not permit access to its Dial-Up profile from a PocketPC running 2003 OS!!
