Hi i have added some poi and followed the advice, i think i must have change or delete something by mistake.

Two problems;
1 - My 'buddy' info has gone - ie when i select a buddy and update there location it says 'no information'?
2 - My current location shows as my 'home' location but i am not at home, in fact i am over 30 miles from home.

Has anybody seen this?
I know i can restore a backup when i get home but would like to get it fixed before i have to go home.

Can't help with Buddies, never used it ("Billy no-mates!"), but you can re-set your "Home" location easily.
Page 2 of 8 of Change Preferences has "Change Home Location" and you can set it by any of the normal methods - Address, point on map, recent destination etc.

hi thanks for the reply, the 'home' location was a red herring, i have sorted the buddies by restoring a backup
