Is it possible to buy the Speed Camera database for someone else?
I understand I can't load mine onto my sister's Tomtom as she doesn't live at my address???
The thing is, I know I would get the job of downloading and updating every month so it would all be done from my home PC.
She is not yet a member of this forum so how would I go about doing this as Xmas surprise? |

This has been raised several times in the past but a system has never worked out. The best suggestion is to give your sister the money via PayPal and help her set up her own account here. Show her how easy it is how to find help if she needs it. As the database is (mostly) weekly it'll be in her interest to learn how to update it herself. |

The easiest way Kev is to register an account for her and subscribe on her behalf. You could use an email address of your won for now.
Then you can give her the login details and change the email address if you wish.
You would still have access to download and install under her name.
So long as you complete the subscription procedure at the same time as you register the new account then any subscription will be correctly attributed to her.
If she has a TomTom and you were able to snap a photo of her car we could also sort out a custom cursor to accompany the gift? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren.
That's the sort of thing I was thinking of but I didn't want to break any rules. |
