How does one get rid of this icon from the screen.
I don't have any mp3's or Audiobook files on my 910 but this pesky little thing has appeared and i cant get rid of it. |

In Preferences there should be a 'QuickMenu' button. Within there you can disable the QuickMenu if you wish or assign other shortcuts to it instead of music. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not necessarily....
I think there's no Quickview menu on anything except the x20 models.
To get rid of it on a 910, I believe there's a tickbox in "music preferences" or similar. I'll try to find a previous post about it.

I'd even answered myself, but had forgotten I knew! |

Thanks fellas, Got there with your help.
I had to put a track on the unit so as to get into the options menu.
And thanks Andy for not giving me the third degree over the search button
I should know better |

Great bit of software design...
You don't want the mp3 player, so you have to put an mp3 on it to be able to get rid of it! |

This v7 malarkey where different features are either present/not present of operated in different ways on different devices is a royal PITA! _________________ Darren Griffin |
