TT Navigator 6 on n73 - a few problems

It's currently driving me mad!

I've got the 'good' FW revision on the n73 (v3.0704.1.0.1 (19 Jan 07) )which has stable bluetooth, but the Holux GPS Slim 236 sometimes doesn't connect so I have to reboot the phone and the GPS to get it working; if there are any tips I'd be grateful to know.

Also, the TT Nav 6 is not working properly at all (and the above problem might relate to it); when it starts up, it's ok but the moving map stays static, I get the occasional voice prompt and screen update, but this is of course no good.

It's a bit of a faff and I'm not looking forward to it, but is a complete reinstall the best option or is there a likely fix? Tried it with my old GPS unit and the problem is the same. Could it be corrupted files on the memory card? Defrag perhaps?

Lastly, will reducing the number of POI's displayed significantly improve TT's performance on the n73? I've got about 60 different ones (ov2/bmp).

Just pasted the TT folders and files from a recent Mini SD card backup and that worked.

To save the same embarrassment in future I'll carry around a spare 1GB mini SD card with enough to run TT with; the last time it failed I had 4 people in the car and we were trying to find a well hidden B&B (no map!) and it was right bloody annoying!
