Mixing UK and Europe databases

I am using a TT GO 700 with the Western_Europe-Map.

Are the speed cameras in the UK database the same as the UK speed cameras in the Europe database? What happens if I try using both databases at the same time - will they conflict with each other.

I take it that the UK database is in mph, while the Europe database is in km/h. If I run both databases while in the UK, Jane won't know whether to say "30 miles per hour" or " whatever-it-is kilometers per hour" (I use voice files).

What is the recommended action for a UK resident who is going to Europe frequently? Keep loading and unloading the relevent database according to what area I am in at the time?

No they are not the same, we give the UK it's own database as we still use MPH whereas mainland Europe is KPH.

The EUR database does not contain UK locations.

If you have a WE map then there is nothing to stop you having the EUR and UK databases in the same map folder, just be aware that the POI Speeds in are reported in KPH for Europe and MPH for UK.
