Thought I'd try to compile a list of what new features are available on each machine after NAVCORE 7 has been installed.

Be brief, otherwise it will end up as another huge topic
(That these features ARE present on the x20 models IS ASSUMED).

I'll start with:
Custom Cursors... All other models - NO

Help me....All other models YES? (but no data files provided yet).

Quick Menu... No set up menu? but the Juke box setting DOES put its icon there. Which models?

Mapshare - All models? (assuming v6.75 maps present)

Safety Preferences extended menu (warning to drive on right etc)

Status Bar improvements (Show CURRENT street name etc)

Vertical Status Bar option

POI list limited to 24 nearest but "preview" screen when one selected.

Do you mind putting this into a tabular form (similar to our prog/map version page)?

You also should add hardware specs like microphone, ambient light sensor etc.

I would love to... but as I'm not an admin or mod, plain text is all I'm allowed on the forum I'm afraid.

Do it in Excel and I'll make it into a proper page. MaFt can then do the edits.

HelpMe does work on the 910 but it needs the files to work correctly, if the icon is missing it is because there is something present in the SdkRegistry folder (custom menu, POI Capture files or any of the other third party applications) - Mike

Can anyone confirm one of the most important possible changes?

v7.210 software for the x20 range has increased the number of available "slots" for POI .ov2 files from 100 to 300, to allow for all the extra CAxxxx.ov2 and PAxxxx.ov2 files that Mapshare creates (as well as the add-on files for GB Doctors/Dentists/Pharmacy and Police).

Can anyone confirm whether this is now the case for other models running the latest software released yesterday (v7.161)

If you need some test files, I can email a set of empty POI files numbered from 1 to 100 if you send a PM.

In answer to this thread TomTom have just sent me an Excel spreadsheet that comprehensively answers what v7 features are available on which platforms.

I'll pass it to MaFt.
