It really boils down to:-

- Sensitivity (e.g. Emtac/Socket)
- Datalogging (RoyalTek)
- Battery Life (GlobalSat)
- Removable Battery (Fortuna Clip-On)
- Reliability (Emtac/Socket

Any of the above should do the trick quite nicely, it really depends on the what feature you want the most out of it. If you don't want datalogging, or a long life or replaceable battery, then the Emtac/Socket would be the one for me.

I can't comment on the list, I only can comment on the fortuna clip on. So far so good, I have it velcoed discretely to the windscreen (behind a blackened part at the top of the screen behind the rear view mirror) and it is permently powered so no TTFF issues. I have removed the battery as it is not required. The package only consumes 80mA when not being used so permanent powering is not a problem. It works great with my 3970 and copilot 4.

I have a holux receiver (asus bundle) that works well.
TTFF is comparable with results reported in this site (about 60 seconds)
