After eight weeks wait I have received a 720 plus a tmc aerial and i was expecting the unit to be labeled TT 720 T ! The supplier says that TT 720 T in UK is TT 720 plus the tmc aerial. I feel that I am being conned because if this so why could it not have been sent at start pf Sept when they had stock of 720. Please can I have you views. ceebee07

The RDS-TMC has been a major problem in terms of reliable reception within the UK until very recently, the newer RDS devices are part marked ending in .013 - these work considerably better than any previous device in the UK.
It could be the supply was waiting for stocks of the new device prior to shipping, these newer receivers are so new there are very few people who actually have one to try as yet, perhaps you could let us know what you find in terms of reception and your area of location as you start to use the unit.

From a personal perspective the -013 RDS unit works very well, where as the prior incarnations were nothing short of a chocolate fire guard - Mike

I had read somewhere that the 720T would not be sold in the UK due to the TMC problems, that may be why you have the 720 + the reciever.

FWIW the T models do not have any special T branding, they are simply an x20 with bundled TMC antenna.
