Your are right, just looked at it now. It is the same product and no mac version. Shame. Confused
Can't believe how cheep it got though, as thats a lot of software for 60 odd dollars!

It was my app of choice on the PC too, did all I needed of it. PhotoShop is a very different beast, very very capable but as a novice even the simplest things have me running for the manual!

There y'go. Another inexperienced novice. Take me, now. I'm a very experienced novice, so I NEVER read the manuals (I did click on Help yesterday to see what it said about masks, but I didn't understand it). I've seen Photoshop Elements 4 for about £60 for the MacBook.

Just for your information, I did go get Parallels and installed it, but the performance seems to be degraded when running it, so I'll not be extending my use of it, just stick mostly with Autoroute. I can't wait to get competent with the MacBook - it seems to outperform the PC.

Could I ask someone to do me a Homer Simpson & also a Ford Focus if possible please?

Thanks in advance.

I can't find a decent Ford Focus rear end image anywhere? - a couple I did find were just very poor thumbnails, no use for fiddling with.

Maybe Darren didn't think you were being serious about wanting them stored as well? I mean homer looks like he must move by devine intervention, and only Paris hilton would have a pink focus. Honestly. :D

Listen, SuperDom, Stop it! Homer does move by divine intervention and Paris Hilton is the real world name of homersolly.

I did wonder if you were being serious! I've now hosted them though, you never know, they may appeal to someone ;)

To make these what size 80x80 and do you need the red around the photo and any other colours you need to drop?

Yes they need to be 80x80 pixel 24-Bit bitmaps. The red (RGB 255.0.0) is set as transparent by the TomTom. That's all there is to it.

I looked at the picture by pasting the url. It's not full on rear view, plus being black I reckon it wouldn't show up with enough contrast, plus I have phobias against black cars - they're the ones that always cut you up!!

I drive a black kia cerato and I havn't cut anybody up all afternoon

It won't let me post that quote stuff!! - Dennis

Use the above as an example (all except the code and [b]/code parts!) . The first link points to the actual bitmap file, the second is the file that is displayed in the post which must be a jpeg or gif.
Now I'm confused! I thought we were submitting them to be hosted on the pgpsw site? Then if I wanted to use one of them, I'd right click and "Save Image as...". For that purpose, I can achieve that by saving as a .JPG file, then re-saving it as a bitmap. Or can't other people do that?

Anyway, as you know, Darren, I've simply been posting jpegs, not bitmaps, which you've copied/replaced on the website. Should I learn how to do that stuff above? - it looks awfully complicated for a non RTFM pensioner 8O and besides, it doesn't get them onto pgpsw host.
