TomTom safety cams not working after SW upgrade

I have just brought a TT One Xl europe. It came with version 6.xx software and all the safety cams pre-installed. I checked and they were all there, and the menu option to enable them was also there. I then upgraded to version 7.xx but the cameras are no longer seen by the software. the files still exist in the map folder but it doesnt see them. when i hit the camera icon it just says to subscribe to TT to get them. Ive mailed the not-very-techical-support department but haven't heard from them yet. Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem.

Ditto here - in addition I have a bunch of additional speed camera files that were downloaded into HOME only for them not to upload to the TomTom at all with an error (something along the lines of "it shouldn't be there...")

Did you get the speed camera updates as a freebie promotion by any chance, like me?

no there was no promo, they were just pre-loaded. i wouldn't be able to update them but they would have done for now.

i finally got an answer from TT saying that this is a problem with the software and they have just been made aware of it. they are working on a fix but for the moment the only option is to downgrade to v6.5.
