...but how would that be policed?

...and what criteria would be used to decide which poll was posted in preference to others Confused

By 999Tommo of course. He could have his laptop with him whilst sitting in his 155mph thing, waiting to nab an English visitor who accidently creeps over the limit by half a mile per hour. Very Happy

Then there's pDennisN who spends more time in Corfu than in the UK, he's always logged on, even when on route via the moon on one of his journeys from SW to N. Razz

But Tommo hasn't said WHAT he's licenced to do at 155mph Laughing

...it could be licenced to lift his kilt at 155mph Joker

licenced to type at 155mph Wink

licenced to knit at 155mph Laughing

Voted yes, but not sure how it can be policed, maybe first there = the one for the week, that could be interesting as everyone is typing together at a set hour, fastest typist wins. Laughing

Lost_Property, where is the option for yes + the beer?

Remember when there used to be more pubs in Chatham than churches in England? Cheers!

They were the days, i can remember trying to do a pub crawl at the bottom of Chatham Hill and not making it to the top! Embarassed

Probably forgot because I'm teetotal. (Don't like the taste).

Most Fare Stages were pubs when I was 'On the Buses'. with 'Mud & Dust'. People must have thought I was a real 'boozer' because I knew every pub in Medway and surrounding area.

I remember once when a number of bus drivers did a pint at every pub down the Lower Rainham Road and there was a shortage of buses the next day. Razz Couldn't do it now as several have closed.

I think we should try some self policing, and put Tommo out of the job altogether. A bit of vigilantyism never did anyone any harm.

I also take it that some are still waiting for my super poll. Taunt

Wait longer. Twisted Evil

I was going to do a poll (except I don't know how) for simply
Optimism or
Pessimism.

Namely ... I have booked my Corfu holidays for both June and September next year. Is that Optimism or Pessimism?

But Vera said NO - she didn't mind the Pessimism one (not going to win the Lottery), but the Optimism was sick!! - expecting to last that long. Sick, because at our age, we've stopped being invited to weddings in favour of the other reason for a suit. Sad So if anybody chooses to start it themselves, I'll have to lock (or delete) it!!

Now I'll just have to let mostdom beat me to it. Don't care - Tommo beat him and if you get beaten by a Scottish Police Hofficer, you know about it!

Get yerself a spell checker - that should have two "t"s. I might be tired because I've spent best part of two weeks resetting my new GO720. The shock today of going out to work AND not having to reset my latest new GO720 has been traumatic.

And I've got another job tomorrow - Bristol to Welwyn Garden City.
