Well......we used to. We obviously had normal pockets in our trousers, and we had an additional long pocket, which held your wooden baton, so as to be down the outside of your right leg. Unfortunately, me being a left hander, by the time I got my baton out and swapped hands, it was too late, so I went for the 'other reasonable force' option.
