Hello
First post on these forums but here goes,
Just been messin with my Nuvi 360 and have discovered a useful little trick for calculating the journey time.
Once destination has been programmed and you've hit the green GO button, as ever don't simulate the route, then do the following:
1, Press the green road bar at top of screen
2, scroll down list of turns to last one (destination)
3, highlight turn on screen by pressing
4, this takes you to the zoomed in turn screen
5, The following are listed:
Total journey distance
Total journey time
This saves having to manually calculate the time for the journey but is slightly somewhat long winded for what should be a standard feature.
Hope this proves useful and hasn't been posted before.
Thanks

Or, from the main map screen, press the ETA in the bottom left hand corner - this will bring up the Trip Computer, which includes the distance (along with lots of other information). _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |

Yeah, find this screen very useful and am always amazed just how low the average moving driving speed is for the majority of my journeys.
It does not though, as far as I am aware, give you the total journey time hence the reason for my earlier post.
I found the overall journey time option quite useful on a borrowed TT Go 510 when calculating various route alternatives and have found in general that although the Garmin Nuvi is a nice bit of kit and very easy to use, some fairly obvious functions require a work round in order to obtain the information. |

Indeed - I didn't mention the total travel time, as I couldn't remember off the top of my head whether you could see that too - it's a little long winded to get the information though - I just take the ETA and subtract the current time _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |
