Hi guys

Thinking of getting one of these.

Does anyone know if the newer range of polar 'wear link' chest straps are compatible with the 305?

Also is it possible to use memory map on the 305 or is it simply possible to download wayoints etc as I would with my currect gps unit 'garmin vista'?

Are there kits to allow fitting the main unit to several bikes?

I believe that the heart rate monitors are specific to the Garmin range (but I may be wrong). I have a Polar HRM which is not compatible, but I am not sure which one it is.

You can use Memory Map, but you cannot download the maps to the Garmin. The Memory-Map application is aware of Speed, Elevation, and Heart Rate profiles, and can of course exchange waypoints and routes. You need to be aware of the limited amount of memory in the 305.

I am sure that Garmin will be able to supply spare mounting kits. If memory serves correctly there were two supplied with the package.
