new to the forum well posting anyway i need some help as i have a tomtom 510 and had a e mail from tomtom about new maps i have 6.520 app cps v1.21 boot 4.86 and mapp gb plus 650.1046. a bit lost with all the different numbers have i got the new map if i have not got the new map on my510 is it worth getting any help please

Welcome to the forum, the map installed to your 510 device is the 650.1046 the new maps currently on discounted offer from TomTom are version 675.
There are a number of differences probably the notable one being the revised London Conjestion charge zone which is wrong on your map but correct on the new map. (If you don't travel down in London this isn't much help), there will be other revisions to the new map so good some bad.
If your device is new you might even manage to get a free map upgrade from TomTom some people have managed this. - Mike
