Problem with tomtom v2 using car charger

My tom tom won't charge from the car charger.When I plug it in on the car charger the green light on the top of the tomtom goes on and off whenever the charger wire is moved its like there is a loose connection. This happens in both of our cars . I tried buying a new charger but the samething happened. When I use the USB charger its fine I can wiggle the USB wire and the green light stays on.

Any ideas on whats wrong. I brought it in Decemeber last year from Currys can I get a repair or replacement?

It's deffo a loose/broken wire.

DON'T use it as if the white "control" wire breaks it will send 12v to your unit!!!!!!

Thanks for that, I've tried a new car charger but the same thing happens. I've phoned tomtom and going to send it in for repair as its still under warranty.
