SD Card with TomTom One

Hi,

Might be a stupid question thats been asked before, but I'll ask it anyway:-

Just bought a TomTom One and it comes with an SD Card which has to be inserted for TT1 to work, but when I try to view the information on the card it says it needs formatting?

What is on this card, what is it for, should I format it, can I use a 1Gb card and add extra maps etc onto the card?

Also is TomTom's own safty camera database any good, can you have both TT's and PGPSW's database on it?

Please don't format the card, if you do this your data will be lost for good!
The card contains the programs, maps and voice files to name but a few.

For a start back-up the card to the PC, you can use the TomTom device as a card reader, have a read through the FAQ page which can be found Here

#1 is for backing-up your card
#8 If you are considering a larger card
#4 and #13 if you want to have just the PGSW database installed, or you can install them both but there is not much reason to do this.
#5 For spoken camera alerts for when using the PGPSW database
