Weird chipmunk sounds from 610

Recently my 610 has started occasionally speeding up all the spoken voices so it sounds like I am getting directions from Alvin and the chipmunks.

Turning it off and on again solves the problem, but obviously this is less than perfect! I got it to happen most recently when trying to play MP3s while driving - some refused to play and then the directions went chipmunk. Before that there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for when it happens.

Anyone else have a gerbil in their 610 or is it just me?
