cf card partition

I am looking for some advise re partitioning a cf card

I believe I have done it but also afraid it might go pear shaped

I bought a 4 gb cf card and wanted to see if it could be done.easily

i seem to have partitioned it into 3partitions of 1.5, 1.5 ; and 1 gb roughly
these are 3 logical drives on an extended dos partition does it sound ok?

i have copies of 3 of my gb maps and 3 of my french maps 1 of each on each partition

it was easy to do and it seems to be ok anyone want to try it?

Sounds interesting. If it works then you have obviously done it. does the PDA read it as 3 separate cards then?

i think it must be ok.

the cards appear as cf card, cf card2, cf card3
and they all seem to be working ok

i forgot to mention i am only running ttn3 and eu maps but it all seems to be ok

I have tried to partition a 2gb sd card into 2partitions but have been unable to do it. it could be the card i have, its only a cheap datawrite and I had to send the first one back as no good, even this one has given me trouble, but I will try again.

the process is simple and the partitions are done in dos.

if you or anyone else is interested I can do a short "how to"
