Hi

Running TT6 on a Dell Axim.

Not sure when or how they disappeared but along with my home they have all recently disappeared.

Any help greatly appreaciated.

There are a number of reasons why that might happen.
If the battery had run down to almost nothing you could lose the settings. If you just switch off the PDA without exiting TomTom that might also cause the lost. Also, sometimes the map.cfg card e.g. Great_Britian.cfg is or becomes read only.
If that is the case, copy the map (.cfg file) onto the computer, right click on the file, select properties and then uncheck "read only" then copy the file back to your PDA
But I think the most common cause is the SD card. Certain SD cards for some reason when the unit is switched, on TomTom software, (loaded in main memory,) couldn't read the file quick enough from the SD card, and so assumed the cfg file was missing, and created a new version overwriting the existing file.
The solution to the overwritten .cfg file is to get a different card. The Kingston elite Pro High Speed worked for me as I was also getting that problem.
However, before you rush out and buy anything try the other solutions first as they don't cost anything.
