I have just installed CheckPOInt 2.0.2 on an iPAQ 2210 and it all seems to work OK except for the record POIs feature. No matter which button I assign, none of them do anything...they still bring up my calendar or whatever. Anyone else had this?

Robin

Incidentally, I followed the advice given elsewhere and installed 2.0.2 rather than 3, and it works very smoothly with Pocket PC 2003

Have you gone into the CheckPOInt options screen and selected which button you want to use ? Bear in mind that the button numbers are correct, but the names next to them may be incorrect, so if you want to use the 4th button, select button 4.

Reason why I ask is that you are not just trying to assign the buttons in the CONTROL PANEL applet to CheckPOInt ?

TBH, I haven't seen this happen before, if you are going into CheckPOINT options and setting it, then it maybe that some other app that is open is constantly re-mapping the keys.

I found what I was doing wrong, Dave. I didn't have a GPS fix when I was checking it out. I didn't realise that would stop the screen coming up. The button number I assigned now works fine!

Ah, that would do it! I hadn't realised this until recently with CheckPOInt, so don't beat yourself up about this Wink
