How do I delete items in the "Recent destination"l

I have tried to find the answer in the User Guide but have not found it.

Also after I installed the POI's, my pictures in "Gallery" have jumped to over 700,most of them icons.Is this normal?

I have a 1 Gig memory card in the Nokia N70.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

To delete recent destination simply go to menu and select clear route. Well thats how i do it on TT 6 with a PDA.

I have only had since Christmas so there might be a better way.

Since TomTom only keeps a finite number of recent destinations, a very long winded and cumbersome way might be to keep adding lots of dummy journeys until the ones you don't want drop off the bottom!

I presume you are using TomTom 5 as the option to delete recent destinations is not available.
To Delete all recent destinations you have to delete the .cfg file in the map folder. Unfortunately this also deletes some of the settings. Tomtom automatically regenerates a .cfg file if none are present.
Delete the one there and restart Tomtom. Do all the settings again that you prefer. Then copy the new .cfg file back to the root directory of your card. If you ever want to delete recent destinations again then just copy this file back to the map folder.
