bmp query

Hi,

Is there anything special about POI bitmap files?

Reason I ask, is because I am trying to creat one - nothing elaborate - just a simple football - but when I upload it with a ov2 file, tomtom refuses to start. Remove the bmp file, and all is well again.

Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong?

Some have discovered problems with high color depths, you may need to dither down to 256 colors or 16 colors (can't remember which).
