New beta viewer for Treo 600

On 20 December 2003 Mapopolis released a new experimental viewer to address operational problems on the Handspring Treo 600 smart phone. To install the beta viewer, please first install the latest viewer application and then install the beta over it.

The latest release version of the viewer can be found by coming to www.mapopolis.com and looking in the left-hand menu. The path to download it is:

Download App -> OS 5 PDA -> Download Mapopolis Navigator 1.22

To install the viewer to the Treo, unzip the downloaded file and install "Mapopolis.prc" and "MapopolisWords.pd" to your handheld.

Then, to install the beta version, first download it here:

http://www.mapopolis.com/PalmNavBeta.zip

and unzip it and sync it right over the installed version.

This beta version is to address intermittent lock-ups on the Treo 600 during enroute navigation, but numerous other enhancements have also been made.

The link for this beta for be active until the Navigator viewer 1.27/1.28 release is offered. I will post that information in this forum when it happens.
