Ok, that works fine and i have the two units connecting using a Pocket A to Z application on the PDA.

But When trying to interface with memory map i cannot get the pocket pc to interface with the gps.

In GPS set up i have set;
manufacturer - NMEA
model - NMEA 0183 (this is a default with NMEA)
port - COM5: Bluetooth Serial Port
baud-4800

but the gps will not work, any idea.

cheers

Is your Fortuna Clip on one of These ? - if so try setting the Baud rate to 38400 in the Memory Map application, as this is what the device uses - Mike

Hi All,

I've recently installed Memory Map on my iPaq4700, but am having the same problem as above. I've tried every combination of manufacturers & Baud rates possible but still no joy (Fortuna BT Clip on). The GPS instructions say: SiRF Chipset at 38400 Baud rate, & the bluetooth mgr says the comports are 5-incoming & 8-outgoing.

Does anybody have a solution? It's driving me insane!

I've read that there may be a conflict with Tom Tom software, so I uninstalled that, but it still won't work in Memory Map!

Please Help!!! Crying or Very sad
