iPAQ Bluetooth 'headset' profile support

Hi all,
Does anyone know if the headset profile will ever (or is currently) supported on 2003? I'd like to pair my Jabra bluetooth headset with it, but I get a 'no supported services available' error.

By the way I'm running a 2210.

There is a registry hack around that will enable the headset profile on Pocket PC 2003 iPAQs. However, it doesn't work that well with most headsets - which is why I think HP have chosen to disable it at this point.

I believe the problem is that most headsets expect to initiate the connection to the other device. With the registry hack, you seem to have to initialise the connection from the iPAQ. I certainly couldn't get it to work properly on my Pocket PC 2003 iPAQ 3970 (which, I believe, has the same Bluetooth stack as your 2210) and a Nokia HDW-2.

I reversed the registry hack and gave up. Hunting around the net, it seems others haven't been terribly lucky with it either.
