No Speeding Alert Function With The 6.010 Upgrade?

I've taken the plunge & bought the updated GB map today. The Navigator 6.010 software that is supplied with the download doesn't seem to have any mention of the Speeding Alert feature.

Is this a stripped down version without the feature or is it buried somewhere I haven't found yet?

For anyone else equally incompetent, the speeding alert is apparently switched on automatically when you add current speed to the status bar in preferences.

In mitigation, I can't drive at the moment so was only playing around with advanced planning & demo mode.

Ok, I give in where is the set up in preferences status bar. For speed alert.

Alan, try Change preferences/ Status bar preferences then select the check box for Speed.
If this option isn't made available to you try Change Preferences/ Show ALL menu options, hit continue and you should then be able to get at the speed check box - Mike
