Acer N35 Destinator - Wrong Maps?

I bought an Acer N35 from Expansys as it seemed like a good deal. I was going to buy a PDA and Co-Pilot Live, but as Destinator was included (Version 3.0.75) with the Acer I thought I'd take the plunge. I realized that Destinator has the Roundabout problem (mine announces 3rd exits correctly, but the wrong visual indication is displayed).

However, I understood from the Destinator website that it is supposed to have Navteq maps, which is why I thought it would be an adequate replacement for Co-pilot. However, both the CDs and the Pre-Installed SD Card contain Teleatlas maps (2004.Q1.2827). I thought this strange as they sing the praises of Navteq on both the US and Europe websites.

Does anyone know if the package includes the old Teleatlas maps instead of newer Navteq ones because it is a bundle? If so, it will have turned out to have been not such a good deal after all.

It's actually the newer TeleAtlas maps which should be better than what TomTom is currently using. But for the UK certainly Navteq maps seem to be better.
