Detecting lasers with B2

Does anyone have any problems detecting lasers with a new heat reflecting windscreen? I read somewhere that this can cause problems as the laser can not get through?

Try putting the detector up beside the rear view mirror where there is a clear, non reflective patch on the windscreen.

I have heard that you can test a laser detector using am infrared TV remote control. I have not tried it though.

I was told that laser detectors didn't have a problem with "coated" windscreens, but the GPS aeriel most certainly did.
