Leadtek/Destinator cable wiring - Help Pse!!!

I am hoping someone might be able to advise me here.....I have a need to convert an old Destinator/Leadtek Y Cable, for use with another GPS mouse.

Now I have found that the new mouse uses:

Red........Vcc
Black......Gnd
White......Rx
Green.....Tx

So far so good. Now when I strip back the old Leadtek/Destinator Y Cable, I find the following.....

Red..........Vcc
Black........Gnd
Orange.....Tx
Brown.......Rx
Yellow.......FB <----- what the heck is this one

easy I thought until I came across this "Yellow Wire marked FB"

This wire goes back to the Ipaq connector and feeds through the RJ11 Connector and actaully connects to the small pcb that is inside the Cig Lighter, the Cig lighter board also has the normal RED and BLACK.

Anyone PLEASE PLEASE advise

That's probably just the LED in the cigarette lighter that blinks insanely with the NMEA stream. You can safely ignore that (unless you need this kind of light entertainment (sic))
