Hi everyone,
I can't seem to get the 'my one' feature to work. Has anyone else had any success with this? |

The other day an update of the 'home' software was downloaded. It changed the picture (so it was not an image of the old TT 'one' but the V2)
Also, I got this reply from Tomtom concerning the 'my one' emulator.
"We just double checked our information for you with the TomTom HOME team, it appears the component required to control your new ONE via HOME will be available very shortly.
We would recommend you try using the function again a few days from now, and you should find that HOME will allow you to download the component required.
we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
With best regards,
The TomTom Customer Support Team"
Strange that no-one else has reported the problem in this forum. |

I've now got both versions of the TT1 and here are the main points to note:
1) The new TT is slower. It is very pronounced on the map scroll. The old version scroll smoothly but the new one judders as it scrolls.
2) Everything about it seems cheaper - from the device itself to the cradle.
3) You can no longer customise the speed camera alerts. A single sound for all cameras is all you get I'm afraid.
4) If you use the tom tom's cameras, they do not appear in the POIs. You go to a different menu and select all cameras on or off.
5) A few of the features have been enhanced - weather for example.
6) New features include buddies, tom tom home, logging.
Impressed? Well yes and no. Still debating whether to keep it or return it and stick with the old version. |

I must have a faulty unit or is the TT1V2 GB different to the unit you have.
I have 15 different customised sounds (not the ones that can be obtained on this site with the modified data.chk file) for the PGPS Safety Camera Zoned download. |

Sorry, you are correct.
However, if you use TT traffic you can not change the aural warnings for the speed cameras since they do not appear as regular POIs. |

Not sure how you chnage the sound alerts for the new TT1. The old file does not seem to work. |
