Clip on and HP4150 altitude wrong

I have a Fortuna clip on and an HP4150. Using either Memory map or Destinator, the altitude given is wrong.

Currently, I have 6 satellites locked and Destinator is reading 477 feet, memory map 145m above sea level. I am acutally about 80m above sea level. I have seen the same offset with 9 satellites locked, so I don't think its an error with the number of satellites. At sea level, it's reading 55m (this was on the Isle of Skye this summer).

Does the Fortuna need resetting? If so, is it just a case of pulling the battery for a while?

IIRC it's a known error in the Sirf II chipset as used by the Clipon.

I'm sure there must be something about it on this site somewhere, but can't find it ATM.
