Anyone have any experience with 4GB SD cards. I just purchased a Transcend 4GB SD card and although my iPaq 4355 sees all of it fine I have some problems with disappearing and corrupted files.

I've emailed back and forth with Transcend a few times and their "official" postion is that the card is not compatible with most iPaqs.

Most of what I have read is that there is no reason WM2003 iPaqs won't support 4GB so long as they are formatted in FAT32.

Any recommendations?

you have to fill the card with more than 2 GB of data before it can be used reliably. Transcend's statement was correct.

I am using both transcend 4GB 150x (TS4GSD150) and transcend 2GB 150x (TS2GSD150) cards in my Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N560 without problems. (The 4GB card does now have more than 2GB data on it though)
Note that the SD specification only goes up to 2GB but some manufacturers have found a way of putting 4GB on it and some machines seem to recognise this extra capacity. The N560 manual only mentions 2GB as the maximum capacity but as I said, does seem to work.
(SDHC - SD High Capacity - cards run on a completly different specification and few machines support them at the moment).
