This has got me totally baffled.

I have managed to balls up my original maps (Destinator ND, UK/ Ireland) and seems to be unable to reinstall them using the console.

I have tried several times and always get "Install CD2" which is pretty much impossible seeing as only 1 CD was bumdled with the PB GPS400 unit.

I have now tried to replace the original map files directly without success.

Can someone please let me know.

1. Why DN's console asks for a non existent CD
2. Which folder can i install directly to on the SD card to let me have my maps back if there is no way around the problem detailed in point 1.

HELP!

Regards

Richard

I had the same problem.

I put in a call to Destinator support and a very helpful lady promised to look into the problem and call me back.

But while I was waiting for the call I experimented with the ini files in the Console Directory.

In MapsWEurope.ini the very last line is

disk=2

I edited this to

disk=1

and was able to reinstall the map.

It worked for me!

I phoned Support back to tell them I no longer needed help.

Hope this helps.

Best

Ray
