"GPS not found" after restarting iPaq +Destinator3

Hi all,
I just bought a BT GPS reciever - an OnCourse BT from buygpsnow. I have a iPaq 3955 with a Belkin CF BT card running Destinator 3.0.25.

Everytime I restart the iPaq (after turning it off while Destinator is running) I get the message "GPS not found" . Everything works fine if I restart destinator.

I did not have this problem when I was using the old mouse type GPS.

What can I do ?

I noticed the same with my CF and BT gps receiver. I believe when you turn your Ipaq off, you cut all power hence it loses the pairing with your gps receiver.

I assumed you don't expect Destinator to still be connected to your gps receiver once you turn off your Ipaq.

Guess it works fine for a GPS mouse.

Yes, it works fine with a mouse GPS...but here is the rub....

I loaded Mapopolis on the ipaq. When the ipaq is powered on...mapopolis is intelligent enough to try to reconnect to the GPS !

Destinator is not and it just says "GPS not found".
This sucks!
